Who We Are
More than 20 years ago, the founding partners formed HHNT to be a different kind of environmental engineering firm. Each of these partners – senior engineers with extensive management experience – wanted to re-direct their careers as working engineers and designers to solve problems for clients.
HHNT was created on that simple idea:
solving problems.
Since 1990, the world has changed tremendously, but HHNT has remained true to its core value: Working for all clients to solve problems, obtain permits, and turn ideas into reality. Our clients all have one thing in common – they want to be successful. Today’s complex and constantly-changing environmental regulatory system can be a challenge; we see these challenges as opportunities to help our clients become successful and to profit from that success.
We attack all projects, regardless of size and complexity, the same way – directly with the client’s team. This partnership is why we call ourselves consulting environmental engineers; we help our clients navigate a difficult environmental regulatory system. Whether we are designing solutions, reviewing a project with a client in the field, or negotiating a permit or compliance issue, we bring our many year’s experience, expertise, and intensity to every project.
Over the years, as senior partners have retired, we have added seasoned professionals as partners. We choose these new partners from the best and brightest – civil and environmental engineers seasoned by years consulting, design and permitting work alongside firm partners. This approach has helped us ensure we remain true to our goal of solving problems to help our clients succeed.
